In the series “Here Everything Begins,” the relationship between Billie (played by Margaux Aguilar) and Tom (Tom Darmon) has come to an end! After a challenging period, Billie succumbed to temptation and cheated on her then-boyfriend with chef Romain Valdine (Luigi Kr\u00f6ner)…<\/p>\n

Following her infidelity, she realizes she’s no longer in love with Tom and ends their relationship at the close of the episode on Monday, February 3, 2025. The show airs Monday through Friday starting at 6:35 PM on TF1. Margaux Aguilar shares her insights on this development with AlloCin\u00e9.<\/p>\n

AlloCin\u00e9: Why does Billie feel out of place in her relationship with Tom?<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Margaux Aguilar:<\/b> It’s simply because Tom isn’t there for her. Billie is going through a period of insecurity, doubting herself, and everyone is trying to pigeonhole her into a role she’s not sure she wants for life! Whenever she tries to discuss this, Tom is only focused on himself.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He’s not there to reassure her. Instead, he’s actively discouraging her from participating in the masterclass because he’s jealous of her success. It’s actually quite unhealthy (laughs). Tom has created a sort of competition between them instead of partnering with her.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Has she reached a point of no return in her relationship by sleeping with Romain?<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Definitely. Romain is the catalyst for her breakup with Tom. Billie is a loyal and faithful person, both in love and friendship. This betrayal doesn\u2019t align with the values we’ve seen from her since the series began. By crossing that line, it’s the end…<\/p>\n

What does Romain have that Tom lacks, according to her?<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I think it’s a matter of circumstances: if Romain had appeared six months ago, when things were going well between Tom and Billie, nothing would have happened. However, Romain is a highly influential chef, and she feels somewhat intimidated by him.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He’s a star who arrives at the Institute and shows interest in her. Romain gives Billie everything she needs, just when she needs it. Six months ago, she might have been drawn to Romain’s charisma, but it wouldn\u2019t have gone further.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The fans of “Here Everything Begins” have always been divided about the relationship between Billie and Tom. Do you understand them and Margaux, what do you think about their breakup?<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Personally, I’m a bit sad because I really enjoyed working with Tom Darmon; we’ve been playing a couple for two years. It feels strange. However, it’s true that Tom and Billie were completely different. I completely understand why some people didn’t like their relationship at all.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

These people especially didn’t understand why Billie, with all her principles, would want to be with someone who was jealous and demeaning to others… Somehow, I think this breakup could be a good thing for Billie. She will be more aligned with her values moving forward.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
