During the festival on Saturday evening, Sanders introduced the musician Clairo, commending her for leveraging her influence to advocate for women’s rights and to strive for an end to the devastating conflict in Gaza. “Our nation is confronted with serious challenges, and what the future holds for America depends on your generation,” Sanders declared, receiving applause. “You have the option to look away and ignore the issues, but doing so would be at your own risk.
