Starting tonight, “Here Everything Begins” will confront the departure of one of its iconic characters, as Catherine Davydzenka exits the series. Having been part of the cast since 2020, the actress portrayed Hortense Rochemont. As kind as she is whimsical, the young woman quickly became a fan favorite.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Married to Mehdi for several years, does the actress’s departure signal the end of this couple? According to revelations from the show’s producer, \u00c9glantine Sofianos, during an interview with Sur nos \u00e9crans<\/span>, their story will continue: “He remains at the Institute. For now, it will be a long-distance relationship. They have weekends to see each other.”<\/i><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“We Already Have Some Leads”<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

But will Marvin Pellegrino still be around by next fall? Things are not yet final: “For next season, we are currently considering the future of this character, who is finishing his master’s this year,<\/i>” the producer disclosed before adding: “We already have some leads,<\/i>” suggesting that the relationship between Mehdi and Teyssier might be further explored.<\/p>\n

One thing is certain, Catherine Davydzenka’s departure was well thought out by the production team: “It was from this storyline about Vic’s breast cancer that we thought it would be a fitting farewell.<\/i><\/p>\n

“The moment she decides to take care of her sister and ultimately combine her two passions, her first passion for medicine \u2013 even though it was something her father imposed on her, it was still within her \u2013 and her passion for cooking. When she leaves the Institute, she will assist patients through nutrition.”<\/i><\/p>\n

“Catherine announced her departure several months in advance. This gave us time to think about how to craft the exit of a character from ITC who has been there from the very beginning,”<\/i> concluded Eglantine Sofianos.
