Did you know that the team behind “Scary Movie” considered casting a former U.S. President in the sequel to the popular spoof saga? Here’s who they had in mind!<\/p>\n

A U.S. President in a “Scary Movie” franchise installment? The Wayans brothers are known for their wild ideas, but it’s hard to believe they would think of such a shocking option! Yet, as Collider recently reminded us<\/span>, they did!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

You have to read it to believe it: the Wayans considered Bill Clinton for the role of a priest, specifically Father McFeely, in the second installment of the saga released in 2001. Originally, the legendary Marlon Brando was cast to play the character in a wild scene parodying “The Exorcist,” but the iconic “Godfather” star had to leave the project due to health reasons after just one day of shooting.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Thus, a quick backup plan was needed, and the zany siblings briefly thought of the 42nd President of the United States, who had just left office after the Monica Lewinsky scandal that marked his second term. “We just mentioned the name,”<\/i> Shawn Wayans said in 2001 to the New York Post<\/span>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“It would have been really hilarious, though!”<\/i><\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

“But then we realized he was the President,”<\/i> the American prankster continued. “He had taken an oath, so there were certain things he couldn’t do, like appear in a movie like ours. The horrible things we would have made him do!”<\/i> He concluded with regret: “It would have been really hilarious, though!”<\/i><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In the end, neither Brando nor Clinton ended up parodying “The Exorcist” in “Scary Movie 2.” James Woods was ultimately chosen for the role.<\/p>\n
