Who is Behind “Monsieur Aznavour”?<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

Grand Corps Malade co-directs with Mehdi Idir, with whom he has previously collaborated on “Patients” and “School Life.” These two films were quite successful, surpassing a million admissions each, with “Patients” drawing 1.2 million in March 2017, and “School Life” attracting 1.8 million in August 2019.<\/p>\n

“Monsieur Aznavour” is partially produced by Jean-Rachid Kallouche, the husband of Katia Aznavour, Charles Aznavour’s daughter. According to him, Charles Aznavour had approved this film project before his passing. “He was impressed by ‘Patients’ and when I told him I wanted to make a movie about his life one day, he immediately said yes<\/i>.”<\/p>\n
