In an interview with Letterboxd last year, actor Keanu Reeves discussed his four favorite films, including a comedy that made him roar with laughter when he saw it in theaters.<\/p>\n

Released in theaters in 1972, the dramatic comedy “Harold and Maude” tells the story of a twenty-year-old boy who experiences a pure and reciprocal love with a woman fifty-nine years his senior. This film is a cult classic beloved by none other than Keanu Reeves.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In an interview last year with Letterboxd<\/span>, Keanu Reeves (who turned down playing a Marvel villain) briefly mentioned the film “Harold and Maude,” which he considers a pinnacle of humor. “I was a teenager and frequented movies when I saw Harold and Maude,”<\/i> the actor stated. “There’s this scene with his arm. He’s at this appointment, pulls out a hatchet, and starts hitting his arm with it. I’ve never laughed so hard in a theater, ever. It was sublime.”<\/i><\/p>\n
