Cate Blanchett to star in a biopic! Having previously portrayed Katherine Hepburn in “Aviator” and a version of Bob Dylan in “I’m not there,” Blanchett will once again transform into a real-life personality.<\/p>\n

She will specifically take on the role of Martha Stewart, a true American icon and the first self-made female billionaire in the United States.<\/p>\n

Following her company\u2019s IPO, she became the first self-made female billionaire in the U.S.<\/p>\n

Martha Stewart is also noted for her legal troubles with her company, as Variety pointed out.<\/p>\n

The screenplay for this biopic will be penned by Ricky Tollman. The production will be led by Cate Blanchett and Coco Francini, along with Randy Manis and Neil Dodson. Janicza Bravo will direct the film, titled “Good Thing,” referencing Martha Stewart’s famous phrase “It\u2019s a good thing”.<\/p>\n
