Following the tragic and mysterious fire that destroyed their home and took their parents’ lives, the three Baudelaire children have become orphans. As heirs to a vast fortune, which they can only access when they come of age, they are placed under the questionable guardianship of Count Olaf, a flamboyant and villainous character with a flair for theater, who is, unfortunately, one of their distant relatives.<\/p>\n

Determined to claim the inheritance for himself, Olaf must contend with the children’s cleverness. Violette, aged 14, is an exceptional inventor. Her brother Klaus, 12, is an avid reader. Their little sister Sunny has the ability to bite and chew nearly anything she encounters.<\/p>\n
