Far-Right Leader Fernando Camacho Arrested

The governor of the Bolivian department of Santa Cruz, Luis Fernando Camacho, has been arrested and taken to La Paz. Camacho faces numerous charges and had been investigated for crimes dating back to the 2019 coup.

Bolivia’s Interior Minister, Eduardo Del Castillo, confirmed the reports, saying: “We inform the Bolivian people that the Bolivian Police complied with the arrest warrant against Mr. Luis Fernando Camacho. Information is developing.”
