Guests Joe Emersberger, a political writer based in Canada with Ecuadorian roots joins us (Twitter @rosendo_joe) along with Andrea Guillem, an Ecuadorian feminist activist and coordinator for gender and economic research for the Center of Economic and Social Rights, who joins us from Quito. From Mexico City, José Luis Granados Ceja, a freelance writer and photojournalist, contributes with analysis based on his reporting on Ecuador (Twitter @GranadosCeja). For more reporting in Ecuador and the elections, follow Quito-based Ecuador On Q (Twitter @Ecuador_On_Q) who shared some of their campaign rally footage with us.
