On Monday, September 29 in Un si grand soleil…

Léo is taken into custody

At the hospital, Hugo is busy taking samples from Pauline.

At the police station, Élise asks Yann if there has been any update on Pauline. Sadly, the young woman is still in a coma. Yann then explains that it’s not an accident but rather looks like a case of attempted femicide. Feeling uneasy, Élise eventually reveals to him that Pauline is Élodie’s lover.

Élodie is thus summoned to the police station and tells Yann that Pauline intended to leave Léo on the day of the accident. Unfortunately, she is unsure whether Pauline managed to do so.

After leaving the police station, Élodie bumps into Élise and takes the opportunity to learn more about the investigation. Although she is not working on this case, the officer assures Élodie that her colleagues are investigating all leads to uncover what happened.

Later, Hugo discusses the investigation with Yann and Commissioner Becker. According to him, Pauline couldn’t have simply fallen off a ladder and must have been attacked. This leads to Léo becoming the prime suspect and he is subsequently taken into custody.

Noura and Charlotte take action

Florent has agreed to represent Pablo regarding a complaint filed against him for property damage. This decision clearly does not sit well with Achille, who makes his displeasure known.

Upon arriving at school, Achille and Alexis notice that there have been no thefts since Pablo’s departure, convincing the two teens that Pablo is definitely the culprit. Meanwhile, Mr. Chazal is pleased to note that the working atmosphere has improved, a comment that irritates Charlotte, who points out that he is probably not unhappy about Pablo’s exclusion. When he asks what she is implying, the teenager mentions the racist slurs he directed at their classmate. Naturally, the teacher denies having made such remarks. The discussion quickly escalates, and Mr. Chazal threatens to send Charlotte to the principal. She then stands up, gathers her belongings, and leaves the class, followed by Noura.

Elsewhere, Florent meets with Pablo and Hugo at his office. The medical examiner plans to file a complaint against Mr. Chazal for racist insults. Unfortunately, the lawyer explains that there’s a high likelihood the complaint will be dismissed. Legally, the term “pedigree” is not considered a racist insult per se. If the teacher does not admit to the facts, the complaint will likely lead nowhere. While this is a setback for Hugo and his son, Hugo is not ready to give up just yet.

At the same time, Charlotte and Noura criticize Alexis and Achille for staying in class. For the two teens, their teacher is not racist, which shocks the two young women who end up getting annoyed and leaving. However, Charlotte and Noura are not prepared to give up. They decide to persuade as many people as possible to boycott their teacher’s class.

At the end of the day, Florent informs Achille that the police will question Pablo. However, the teen is not worried for his friend because he believes Pablo is used to this kind of situation. Florent does not appreciate this remark, reminding him that Pablo is trying his best to make it through. Despite this, Achille suggests that Pablo could afford a party to celebrate the end of his electronic monitoring because he bought a lot of alcohol even though he has no money. Although Florent considers that his father might have given him some pocket money, Achille hints that he could have financed the party with the money from the thefts. Florent sets him straight.
