A new tragedy is about to shake Montpellier in Un Si Grand Soleil. Recently, Cécile (played by Marie-Gaëlle Cals) has been involved in a complex case, trying to dismantle a major drug trafficking network.
However, her involvement could put her in great peril. In Wednesday’s episode, she narrowly escaped an assassination attempt. Since then, Cécile has been placed under judicial protection, with Elise (Malya Roman) tasked with shadowing her every move. Despite all precautions, it appears that the police officer could not keep her safe.
Cécile Clings to Life
In the episode of Un Si Grand Soleil airing this Friday, August 28, Cécile and Elise are at the Montpellier airport following a trip to Luxembourg. The judge then makes a phone call to the prosecutor but only gets his voicemail.
She leaves a message revealing that she has stumbled upon a discovery that could change everything in their case, urging him to call her back as soon as possible. As she gets into the car that was supposed to take her home, Picard returns her call. Cécile steps out of the car, accompanied by Elise.
At that moment, the car explodes. Both women are thrown by the blast. While Elise manages to get up, Cécile remains on the ground, unconscious. Is she dead? In the episode of Un Si Grand Soleil airing on Monday, August 31, which is already available for preview on france.tv, Cécile will be rushed to the hospital urgently.
Unfortunately, the judge suffers from a cerebral hemorrhage. Therefore, Alain decides to place her in an induced coma. At this point, the doctor is unsure if she will survive. Her condition is extremely critical, and she is expected to remain in a coma for several more weeks. Will she be able to pull through? Only time will tell…
