She adds, “There’s someone who cares deeply about you, it would be a shame to lose her.“

After admitting he has no desire to lose Cécile, Florent concludes, “We’ve been through so much together, it’s normal for nostalgia to play tricks on us.“

Florent Makes a Heartfelt Declaration to Cécile

Back at home, Florent gathers his courage and emotionally confesses the whole truth to Cécile.

“I was tempted to go further but I didn’t because I know our story has ended. Maybe it was nostalgia, memories from the past resurfacing, our history, a kind of closeness, but nothing that should ruin what we have now,” he explains.

He continues, “I’m not thinking about her, I’m thinking about you! I love you. I don’t want to ruin everything. I’m truly sorry for making you doubt any of this. I ask for your forgiveness.“

Following these words, the couple shares a kiss, affirming their reconciliation. All’s well that ends well!
