Exposed: Project 2025’s Blueprint for a Far-Right Secret Government Unveiled!

A former top official from the Trump administration, instrumental in developing the far-right Project 2025 initiative, disclosed in recently uncovered speeches that he plans to disrupt the careers of long-standing government employees to set the stage for Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, to take complete control of the federal government if successful in the November 5 election.

In collaboration with the watchdog group Documented, ProPublica released several videos on Monday from two private speeches given by Russell Vought, who was the director of the Office of Management and Budget during Trump’s first term, in 2023 and 2024.

The speeches, not previously reported on, were analyzed by ProPublica and Documented, revealing Vought’s “plans to use military forces to quell domestic disturbances” and “eliminate funding for the Environmental Protection Agency.”

“Vought’s two speeches provide a candid glimpse into the core beliefs and political ideology of a prominent figure within the MAGA movement,” the latest reports state. “Mirroring Trump’s discourse, Vought subtly supported the debunked theory that the 2020 election was stolen and compared media efforts to refute this claim to tactics used by the Chinese Communist Party.”

Moreover, Vought explicitly expressed his desire to leave a psychological impact on federal workers as part of a broad strategy to remove scientists and other civil servants seen as unfaithful to Trump.

“We aim to make federal employees dread coming to work, casting them as the antagonists,” Vought stated in a video clip obtained by ProPublica and Documented. “We plan to cut their funding, crippling the EPA’s ability to enforce regulations against our energy sector because they’ll lack the necessary financial resources.”

Despite Trump’s attempts to distance himself from Project 2025, claiming ignorance about its origins and leadership, over 140 members from his initial administration, including Vought, participated in crafting the extensive far-right agenda. This agenda includes plans to dismantle climate change regulations, further restrict abortion rights, reduce child summer food programs, and decrease taxes for the affluent.

Vought, now leading the Center for Renewing America think tank, countered Trump’s disavowal of Project 2025, revealing to an undercover journalist earlier this year that the Republican nominee is “highly supportive of our efforts.”

In the 2024 speech captured by ProPublica and Documented, Vought mentioned that he and other Project 2025 architects are “drafting detailed plans for agencies” and “creating the actual executive orders” for Trump to sign should he defeat Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in the upcoming November election.

“We’re already drafting the regulations and sorting through the legalities of everything President Trump advocates for,” Vought explained.

Specifically, ProPublica and Documented reported that Vought “outlined how his think tank is formulating the legal justification for invoking the Insurrection Act, a law that permits broad presidential use of military for domestic law enforcement.”

Reflecting on the 2020 racial justice protests following George Floyd’s death by police, Vought expressed regret that Trump did not use the Insurrection Act then, noting that his preparations for a potential second Trump term include establishing a “shadow” Office of Legal Counsel to guide presidential powers without internal resistance.

Jesse Eisinger, a senior editor at ProPublica, described Vought’s outlook on the U.S. as “doomsday rhetoric,” highlighting his belief that the nation is experiencing “the final stages of a complete Marxist takeover… where our adversaries already control governmental weaponry aimed directly at us.”

Vought, who has previously expressed a desire to “revitalize Christian nationalism,” portrayed Trump as a pivotal figure capable of rescuing the nation, describing him in one of the new speeches as “a man uniquely suited for this role.”

“He understands the personal attacks he has endured and sees the broader assault on the country,” Vought added. “That is nothing short of a divine intervention.”
