Toy Story 5 Trailer Finally Answers the Question Everyone’s Been Asking for 3 Years!

The trailer for Disney/Pixar’s “Toy Story 5” has just been released, finally addressing the big question fans have had since the project was announced!

Following the teaser, the full trailer for Pixar’s “Toy Story 5” has just been unveiled, answering the burning question that has been on everyone’s mind since the announcement of this fifth installment. Why is Woody, who said his goodbyes to Buzz and the other toys at the end of the fourth film, back? It turns out that the cowboy has stayed in touch with his friends using a walkie-talkie. With Bo Peep’s help, he’s been gathering abandoned toys, a group that’s growing due to one main reason—screens! Kids are neglecting their toys in favor of tablets. And this is a threat that could affect the whole gang if Bonnie continues to be captivated by her new device.

Thus, Woody returns to help Buzz, Jessie, Rex, and the others. His comeback is stirring up quite a buzz online for a good reason… The cowboy, dubbed “the old man toy” by Lilypad, the tablet, is experiencing baldness!

Born in 1995, the beloved cowboy from our childhood is celebrating his 30th anniversary this year, which is quite old for a plastic toy.

Original Voice Cast Returns

The trailer, set to the iconic tune “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” by Randy Newman, shows the toys rebelling against technology to keep their place in little Bonnie’s heart. “Toy Story 5” is co-directed by Oscar winner for Best Animated Feature, Andrew Stanton (Wall-E, Finding Nemo, Finding Dory), and McKenna Harris (the short film “Ciao Alberto”). Randy Newman, who has composed the music for all the films in the series over the last 30 years, is once again the composer for this fifth installment.
