After Émilia’s fall down the stairs, suspicion falls on Killian. But is Louise’s godson really to blame? Who truly intended to harm Émilia?

This Friday, New Day ends with a shocking revelation. After being found unconscious on the staircase by Tarek (Mhamed Arezki), Audrey (Gabrielle Ather) and Gabriel (Jean-Baptiste Maunier), Émilia (Laëtitia Milot) accuses Killian (Lois Schlieper) of pushing her. This claim is supported by Marin (Léo Vazzoler), who asserts he saw the gardener follow Émilia up the stairs.
However, Théa (Marion Aymé) is skeptical and believes her boyfriend testified out of jealousy. Meanwhile, Louise (Héléna Noguerra) contacts Émilia to inform her that Killian is on parole and risks imprisonment. Louise suspects that Émilia is a victim of domestic violence, similar to her own experience during her marriage to Clément (Christophe Héraut), though she has no proof except her intuition.
Gabriel, on his part, has witnessed several of Émilia’s angry outbursts towards Clément and noticed that his father has a burn on his forearm, caused during an argument with his wife. Could his father truly have changed and become a victim of domestic violence himself?
Louise Witnesses the Grim Reality About Clément
In episode 60 airing this Friday on M6, Louise follows Émilia into the hotel and hides to overhear her conversation with Clément. Unaware that Killian might end up in jail, she plans to call the police to withdraw her complaint. Clément tries to snatch the phone from her hands, then punches her in the stomach before slapping her. Louise watches the scene in horror.
Is Émilia ready to recognize her husband’s abusive behavior and seek help? In the episodes to come, Louise, Tarek, and Émilia will band together to try to rescue her before it’s too late. They will receive support from a character making a major return next Monday. However, Clément is not ready to give up and will do anything to keep his secret hidden.
