Who are Nala’s parents?

A recent theory aired on a TikTok account by a user named lenno.cinema has puzzled those fond of Nala.

In his theory, the fan raises a question that the Disney classic never answered: who are the parents of the young lioness? We know Simba’s parents are Mufasa and Sarabi. But what about his childhood friend?

At the beginning of the movie, just before the two cubs set off on their adventure, we can glimpse Nala’s mother, who is named Sarafina in the animated series “The Lion Guard.” However, her father remains a complete mystery.

A Chilling Hypothesis

This is where the theory comes in. In his video, lenno.cinema points out that in each lion pride, there are typically only two male lions. In “The Lion King,” these are clearly Mufasa and Scar, leaving little room for other possibilities regarding the identity of Nala’s father.

Considering the eye color of the characters, which are yellow and green for both Nala AND Scar, one can only imagine the chilling conclusion this theory suggests.
