Matt Damon Raves Over 3-Year-Old Movie Masterpiece Rated 4.3/5!

Matt Damon will soon star in Christopher Nolan’s epic film “The Odyssey.” However, three years ago, he was full of praise for the director’s previous movie.

Without a doubt, this is one of the most anticipated films of the year. In a few months, Christopher Nolan will take on a considerable challenge by bringing Homer’s legendary Odyssey to the big screen, venturing into the epic film genre for the first time in his career.

“One of the greatest cinematic performances of all time”

The cast of this epic adventure includes Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Charlize Theron, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, and of course, Matt Damon in the lead role.

Playing Ulysses, the renowned Hollywood actor is no stranger to working with Nolan. He previously made a surprise appearance in “Interstellar” and notably played General Leslie Groves Jr. opposite Cillian Murphy in the biopic “Oppenheimer,” which won 7 Oscars in 2023.

This experience left a significant mark on him, as he shared in an interview at the time, not hesitating to call Nolan’s film a true masterpiece:

“I think it’s one of the greatest cinematic performances of all time,” he declared in an interview with Virgin Radio, particularly mentioning the lead actor’s performance.

“It was a masterpiece”

“It was incredible to see Chris and Cillian together; they really constructed the film in perfect harmony. I think when you see such a masterful performance, it’s because the director and actor are in perfect harmony. It was a masterpiece and a masterful performance.”

Like Robert Pattinson, Anne Hathaway, and Michael Caine, Matt Damon appears to have permanently joined the “Nolan family,” now counting among the filmmaker’s favorite actors.
