Maya and Malik’s Breakup Looms: Alexandra Favalli Spills Why Now’s Not the Time for Love!

In the episode airing Wednesday, February 26, 2025, of “Ici tout commence” on TF1, Maya (Alexandra Favalli) and Malik (Oscar Al Hafiane) find themselves at odds. Maya is already distressed from her intense argument with Leonard (Thomas Vilan), who had actually helped her maintain her position at the Auguste Armand Institute!

Leonard Still Upset with Maya

Speaking to AlloCiné, Alexandra Favalli discusses Leonard’s decision: “Leonard had a clear, sharp chance for revenge. It could have been considered fair revenge! But he didn’t go through with it because, before anything else, he’s a genuinely good and kind person. He would never do that to Maya, nor to anyone else.“

Despite his actions, Leonard still wants to keep his distance from Maya. However, Maya’s troubles are far from over as Malik also decides to distance himself! The actress also shares her thoughts on the couple’s current crisis with us.

“It’s Never Enough for Maya…”

Alexandra Favalli (who actually broke down in tears while filming a scene) states: “Malik tries to be there but it turns out that his role in Maya’s life isn’t as big as it seems. He does offer his help, his time, and his energy, but it’s never enough for her… because what she really needs is Leonard.“

“Malik has known from day one the place Leonard holds. It’s always been clear that he could never replace Leonard in Maya’s heart. However, it’s such a different kind of love…”, explains the star of “Ici tout commence”

“I think Malik understands that it’s not the kind of love Maya needs right now. In the end, there’s really no battle in their relationship… He’s hurt and sidelined, true, but there’s no war,” asserts Alexandra Favalli.
