Maya Makes Up with Malik

In the park, Malik tells Penelope and Souleymane that he has decided to distance himself from Maya. He admits that he took this drastic step in hopes of getting a reaction from her. However, he hasn’t heard from her since yesterday, which makes him feel unimportant to her.

Saddened by the situation their friends are in, Penelope and Souleymane try to find a way to get them talking. They arrange for Maya to replace Souleymane in doing the inventory at the Economat with Malik.

Meanwhile, Leonard learns from Carla and Berenice that Malik has ended his relationship with Maya. Despite his anger, he can’t help but feel sympathy for her.

At the Economat, Penelope and Souleymane’s plan works. Maya confesses to Malik that she has always prepared herself for the day he would leave her because she has been abandoned by everyone since she was young. She acknowledges, however, that she should have fought harder not to lose him because he is one of the best things that ever happened to her. The couple reconciles and shares a kiss.

On the other hand, Leonard hesitates to send a message to Maya to check on her after her breakup. Unsure how to word it, he is caught off guard by Gaspard, who encourages him to admit that he misses Maya. Leonard declares that she is the only family he has ever had.

With that, Leonard decides to go find Maya to talk. He arrives at the Economat and overhears her telling Malik that she can never have a normal romantic relationship if he is always clinging to her. Hurt, Leonard walks away…

Matteo Wants to Help Sabri with Girls

In class, intrigued by his relationship with an AI, Matteo asks Sabri about it. Sabri explains that he programmed it to suit him and even named it Lana. However, he mentions that he intends to stop because he feels it’s run its course.

Only catching the end of the two boys’ conversation, Olivia decides to talk to Sabri after class. She regrets having suggested bringing his girlfriend over to their place when he was planning to break up. Sabri advises her not to worry too much, asserting that his girlfriend has no feelings.

Later, at the Economat, Matteo encourages Sabri to approach Elise, while Jude advises him to take his time and go at his own pace. Sabri takes the plunge but is very awkward. He returns to his friends empty-handed, confessing that he’s a virgin.

To help him out, Matteo decides to enlist Thelma. He asks her to pretend to flirt with Sabri so that he can gain confidence with girls.

Enzo Gets a Big Head

Antoine tells Rose and Enzo that a renowned culinary journalist wants to interview Enzo about his journey that very day.

Worried about being stereotyped as the guy from the rough neighborhoods, Enzo seeks advice from Vic who coaches him and boosts his ego. So much so that Enzo downplays Rose’s role in the Master during the interview with the journalist.

Upon watching the interview video, Rose hides her irritation. Leroy thinks that Enzo has become arrogant.
