Ludo Comes Clean to Axelle

Captivated by Axelle, Ludo dreams of giving in to his desires with her, waking up in a panic. Disturbed by his dreams, he quickly hops on his bike and heads to the farm, struggling to get Axelle out of his mind.

Meanwhile, Axelle and Élodie talk about building a pergola. With Ludo absent, Axelle starts to wonder if he is avoiding her. Feeling uncomfortable, Élodie tries to make excuses for him but without any success.

Elsewhere, Flore has spent the entire night working on her sketches of Ludo. With another session scheduled later in the day, Bilal and Ulysse start to suspect that their two roommates might be sleeping together.

At the same time, Élodie tells Ludo that Axelle is beginning to question his frequent absences. Cornered, he admits that he is attracted to her and that he cannot bear to see her because it’s too hard for him to resist. Angered, Élodie scolds him, pointing out that his abstinence is becoming absurd. Moreover, she is frustrated about potentially falling six months behind schedule because he can’t control his urges.

Eventually, Ludo meets up with Axelle and apologizes. Awkwardly, he reveals his feelings for her and explains his absences by saying he’s going through a complicated personal phase. Understanding, Axelle steers the conversation back to the construction work.

Later in the day, Ludo poses for Flore, taking the opportunity to share his conversation with Axelle. While he is happy to finally have a healthy relationship with a woman, Flore reminds him that they already share such a relationship. However, Ludo feels it’s different because there has never been any attraction between them. He admits that he would have never agreed to pose for her if there had been any ambiguity, a response that makes Flore laugh.

Trouble Starts for Tom and Maéva

Early in the morning, Hélène arrives at the association and finds the director’s dead body. The police arrive and question the former nurse, who mentions her good relationship with the director, describing him as a kind, humane, and dedicated person. She also notes that he had good relationships with the staff. When Lieutenant Cross inquires about potential enemies, Hélène acknowledges some issues with pro-choice activists but doubts they would go so far as to kill him.

Marc, who is nearby, later speaks with Yann and Thierry as they leave the association. They confirm the director’s death.

Yann and Elise later discuss the case with Commissioner Becker. While awaiting autopsy results, the evidence of a break-in at the crime scene suggests homicide. Commissioner Becker encourages them to explore the angle of a vendetta.

Meanwhile, Alix and Maéva listen to the news and learn about the director’s death. Worried, Maéva calls Tom to share the grim news. Tom, who had seen the director with Steve that evening, fears the police might trace the crime back to him, especially since he had broken into the association’s premises and likely left many fingerprints.

Elsewhere, Hélène visits Victor at Les Sauvages and recounts the incident. Despite her doubts stirred by a recent article, she refuses to believe the director was a bad person, recalling how he helped her recover from a low point eight months earlier. To her, he was a generous individual who contributed a lot to the association.

At the end of the day, Thaïs meets Tom and Maéva in town to find out what happened, convinced the couple had gone there to retrieve evidence. Cornered, Tom and Maéva narrate the entire incident but assert that the director was alive when they left. When Thaïs advises them to go to the police station, Tom categorically refuses.
