Tom Delivers Bad News to Nathalie

At breakfast, Cécile tells Achille that Tom has been cleared in the Pascal Belvis murder case. With this great news, the teenager hopes his friends will soon return to Montpellier.

Meanwhile, Nathalie and Carine share the good news with Alix. Even though Tom and Maéva cannot be reached, the gallery owner promises to find a way to contact them as soon as possible.

At the same time, Hélène meets with a psychiatric expert and expresses how much more at peace she feels.

Later on, the police review the case. Hugo, having just spoken with the psychiatrist, tells his colleagues that she suffers from a personality dissociation. Hélène admits that the murder she committed is condemnable, but she believes she did the right thing. Yann thinks it’s possible she’s pretending to avoid prison, while Hugo notes she isn’t on medication and was clearly aware of her actions. She can’t hide behind her condition. Moreover, Hugo believes Hélène is dangerous, whether she is treated or not.

Meanwhile, Johanna informs Hélène that she will be taken to the courthouse and then presented before a judge. She adds that given her history, it’s unlikely she will be granted bail. She should thus remain in jail until her trial. But Hélène doesn’t care. She regrets having caused harm to Tom, a boy she found endearing. Hélène only wanted his happiness and asks Johanna to tell him she’s sorry for all the harm she caused. She hopes he will forgive her and visit her in prison to talk like they used to.

A few hours later, Hélène is handcuffed and transferred to the judge’s office.

Back at the office, Johanna tells Florent that she isn’t optimistic about the future, especially since Hélène refuses to show any remorse. In other words, she’s sabotaging her own case. Florent then tells her about how she displayed the same behavior when she was accused of murdering her lover, calling her completely insane.

Nearby, Nathalie receives a call from Tom who tells her he won’t be returning to Montpellier. Devastated, Nathalie breaks down in tears.

Flore Confides in Ludo

At the shared apartment, Flore is so absorbed in her phone that she doesn’t hear Tiago enter the kitchen. Noticing her tension lately, the teenager tries to find out what’s happening. Naturally, Flore dodges the conversation by assuring him that everything is fine.

Later, Ludo advises Flore to talk to her son about what’s troubling her. However, Flore refuses to tell him that she still thinks about Damien. If Damien was her great love, Flore knows very well that for Tiago, he is the man who abandoned them and essentially blew up their family. It turns out that Flore argued with her mother after his departure because she was convinced that Clémence had reported Damien to the police. She took Tiago and left the family home. Since then, she has not seen her mother and has never been able to forgive her.

After making him promise to keep it a secret, Flore tearfully tells Ludo that Damien has contacted her via message. She admits she still loves him.

Margot Joins BGL

In the morning, Margot and Ludo meet for a coffee, a chance for them to catch up since their breakup. Ludo talks about his desire to change his approach to relationships, specifically his decision to practice abstinence. Margot shares updates about her life, mentioning she has returned to Montpellier to take her bar exam and that things are going well with Akim. Ludo is genuinely happy for her.

Later, Margot meets with Johanna, as she wants to intern at BGL. The lawyer gladly accepts and is delighted to have her for six months. During their conversation, Margot mentions that Ludo is still clueless about women. Although she doesn’t know what he did to end up this way, she assumes he messed up again. Feeling uncomfortable, Johanna ends the conversation.

Meanwhile, Ludo tells Elodie how wonderful Margot is and regrets messing up their relationship. When he mentions how happy she is with Akim, Elodie realizes he’s jealous and advises him to stop wallowing and move forward.
