Why the Long Wait for This Film?

“Crazy Love” has had a lengthy development. The project has been in the works for a long time. An initial attempt to make this film took place with Benoit Poelvoorde several years ago.

The project was put on hold, and Gilles Lellouche directed “Sink or Swim,” which was a major success (4.3 million admissions). As the director explains, it was indeed the success of that film that enabled him to pursue this new project, which he had been considering for exactly 17 years!
