Just three episodes left before the big finale on January 1. This Friday, Netflix released Part 2 of Stranger Things, featuring the folks of Hawkins as they strive to rescue the kidnapped children and decipher Vecna’s plot.
While the Duffer Brothers, creators of this sci-fi series, promised a particularly dark Part 2, it turned out to be profoundly touching: from Nancy and Jonathan’s breakup to the bond between Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Steve, and Max’s return, tears definitely flowed during this Stranger Things binge session.
Unfortunately, that might be the only memorable aspect of these three episodes, which scarcely moved the plot forward. Between needless dialogue and occasionally cringe-worthy scenes, fans did not hesitate to express their disappointment on social media, and their feelings are understandable.
