Un Si Grand Soleil Spoilers: Episode Recap for October 14, 2025!

Léo Prohibits Elodie from Seeing Pauline

At the farm, Ludo, Elodie, and Marcel, a farmer, are trying to pinpoint a water source on a map. According to the farmer, it’s located deep within a cave. Despite it being miles away and the paths being unstable, Ludo and Marcel set out to explore the area.

At the police station, Hugo tells Yann and Thierry that he found alkaline soil on Pauline’s shoes. However, there is no limestone at the Prévost property. Only three farms around the area use alkaline soil: those owned by Jean Lavergne, Jean-Louis Moutier, and Marcel Cabirol. This suggests that Pauline had visited one of these three farmers before her attack.

Not far away, Ludo and Marcel have been walking under the scorching sun for several hours. Marcel is exhausted and nearly collapses from the heat. Ludo encourages him to go home and continues on alone.

Back at the farm, Elise swears to Elodie that she never harmed Pauline. “I made a mistake by going to see Pauline. I should have never done it, that’s clear. But I was feeling so awful. I would never do something so horrible. I love you. I don’t want to hurt you,” she tells her.

Elodie wants to believe her. But when Elise invites her to dinner to talk things over, the young woman makes it clear that she no longer loves her and that they will not get back together. She explains, “Elise, if I fell in love, it means there was space for it. It just revealed the things that weren’t working between us. You have the right to disagree but it won’t change anything. Stop hoping, it’s over.”

Several kilometers away, Ludo runs into Lavergne in the forest. Naturally, the two men clash over the ecological dangers of large water reservoirs.

Upon returning to the farm, Ludo tells Elodie that he found nothing. However, he is not ready to give up and plans to explore the second area tomorrow.

At the end of the day, Elodie goes to the hospital to see Pauline. As Léo refuses to let her enter the room, Elodie makes it clear that they are in love. To no avail. Léo reminds her that he is her husband and she has no rights over her. “You won’t be able to keep us apart. And when she wakes up, you’ll have to accept it,” Elodie retorts before leaving.

Louis and Thaïs Kiss

At the police station, Thaïs receives her assignment to Marseille. While she is happy, she regrets having to leave the people she loves. Manu reminds her that she can still change her mind, but Thaïs feels a strong need to move away from Montpellier to start anew.

Thaïs calls Louis and informs him that she is moving to Marseille in three weeks. The friends plan to meet that evening to celebrate the news. Rémi, who overhears the conversation, points out to Louis that he has a special smile when he talks about the young woman.

Later that day, Thaïs waits for Louis at the beach hut. A young man approaches her at the bar. Thaïs turns him away, but the young man persists. That’s when Louis arrives. He pretends to be Thaïs’s boyfriend, calling her “my love” to ward off the young man. The ruse works.

Thaïs and Louis then sit down at a table. Thaïs shows him photos of her future apartment, but Louis only points out its flaws. Thaïs realizes that her friend doesn’t want her to leave.

A few hours later, Thaïs teases Louis for having called her “my love” earlier in the evening. She jokes that it’s not believable that they would be a couple since they’re just friends. Louis then suggests that, under a misunderstanding, something might happen between them. Thaïs agrees. Louis and Thaïs kiss. They then head to her place to spend some intimate time together.
