The Killer of Fourneau Finally Unmasked

Clément is upset because Alain thinks he’s being abandoned, though in reality, he’s doing just the opposite. The police are coordinating a strategy with the prosecutor to extricate him from this predicament, so he cannot disclose any details to Alain.

Meanwhile, Alain suspects something is being kept from him and decides to step back and let events unfold naturally, encouraged by Flore.

At Midi Libre, Paloma, Marie-Sophie, and Marc speculate on the murderer’s identity. They decide to publish an article outlining the police’s various theories to show their readers they are closely following the case.

At the hospital, Alain apologizes to Janet for his harsh words towards Clément the previous day. Understanding, she reassures him that Clément is doing everything he can to catch the criminal and asks Alain to hang in there.

Agathe is relieved that the police have found damning evidence against Alain, but Valérie doesn’t share her enthusiasm. She views the situation as a terrible waste for everyone involved. Agathe suggests it’s time to move on and rebuild, but without Nicolas, Valérie feels lost.

At the police station, Aude interviews the gardener of the estate where Nicolas Fourneau and Elisabeth spent the night. He reveals that the director of Midi Libre often visited with another woman besides Valérie, whom he hadn’t seen for almost a year until he came with Elisabeth.

The gardener then helps the investigators create a composite sketch of this mysterious woman. And shockingly, Fourneau’s mistress turns out to be Agathe, Valérie’s friend.

At the same time, Alex receives surveillance footage from around the Alphand’s residence, clearly showing Agathe driving a car.

Salomé Takes on the Role of the Villain

During breakfast, Hugo and Sabine discuss with Pablo the recent events between Noura and Salomé. Although reluctant, Sabine explains that it’s possible to have feelings for two people at once, but criticizes him for lying to both women and causing them pain. Nonetheless, Hugo and Sabine offer their support if he needs to talk.

Later, Pablo seeks out Noura at school to apologize, confessing his feelings for both her and Salomé and admitting his cowardice. Hurt, Noura sheds tears before ending their relationship, asking Pablo to ignore her in the future.

Alex later tells Pablo that Clara believes Salomé told Noura everything. Convinced of his girlfriend’s correctness, Alex is determined to expose Salomé’s true character.

Sabine shares her worries with Eve, who reassures her that Pablo’s mistake doesn’t mean he’ll become a toxic man. Sabine simply hopes he learns from this.

Meanwhile, Pablo apologizes to Salomé for Noura’s actions. He inquires if she knows who might have informed Noura, but Salomé uncomfortably denies any knowledge.

Alone, Salomé calls Clara, who admits to sending the message to Noura to help her friend escape the lies consuming her life. Despite Salomé’s protests, Clara insists she did it for Salomé’s own good.

Salomé then confronts Alexis, revealing that Clara was the one who sent the message and pushed her down the stairs. Unsurprisingly, he refuses to believe her, dismissing her claims as crazy.

Alex meets with Clara at the skatepark and shares his conversation with Salomé. Clara denies everything, maintaining her innocence.
