Neither Audrey Fleurot nor Camille Lou is featured in the cast of L’Eté 36. Although initially announced, they ultimately did not join the cast, and here’s why!
Premiering on May 18 on TF1, L’Eté 36 is TF1’s latest historical series! Following Le Bazar de la Charité and Les Combattantes, this ambitious production once again assembles an all-female cast.
While Camille Lou and Audrey Fleurot both appeared in the first two series of this collection, they regrettably did not return for L’Eté 36. But why are these two actresses missing from this historical drama?
Initially reported as part of the cast, the actresses quickly refuted these claims. Camille Lou, in particular, took time in March 2025 to address the rumor during an interview with Télé-Loisirs, explaining how hectic her schedule was:
“I Wish I Could Do Everything”
“Unfortunately, I had to make choices. I wish I could do everything but I can’t! (…) There was a moment when false information had circulated [announcing my participation], and I was very disappointed to give false hope to some people.”
At that time, she was busy filming season 2 of Cat’s Eyes. Similarly, Audrey Fleurot had to turn it down as she was juggling multiple projects.
Audrey Fleurot Soon to Star in The Countess of Monte Cristo
Indeed, she was filming the final season of HPI and was already preparing for the shooting of The Countess of Monte Cristo. This television adaptation of the famous novel will feature her in a female version of the iconic hero and is expected to be released very soon.
However, this does not rule out the possibility of seeing them in another historical series on TF1 in the future. In the meantime, you can now watch Le Bazar de la Charité, Les Combattantes, and the first two episodes of L’Eté 36 on demand on the TF1+ platform!
