On Saturday, January 10, M6 launched the first season of “NCIS: Tony & Ziva,” the latest spin-off of “NCIS: Special Investigations,” bringing back characters portrayed by Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo. Now residing in Paris, the duo, who are not yet a couple, are raising their daughter Talia together. However, their daily life is turned upside down when they are accused of attempting to hack Interpol. They must then flee across Europe to prove their innocence.

Actors Discuss Episode 3’s Scene

Episode 3 of the first season of “NCIS: Tony & Ziva,” airing Saturday, January 17 at 9:10 PM on M6, features the two characters spending a romantic night together following a dinner. The actors shared their thoughts on filming this scene during a press briefing with French media.

“It wasn’t awkward at all to shoot,” Michael Weatherly explained. “I think it might be more awkward for those in the room with us during filming, because Cote and I are very comfortable with each other.”

“Filming such a scene is like doing a stunt or a dance. There’s a complex stage play that requires a very professional, dedicated, and meticulous team.”

“It’s always great to work with someone you’ve known for a long time,” added Cote de Pablo. “Michael and I don’t need to pretend. A look is enough for us to understand each other. That’s what’s great about working with a true friend. It truly is a privilege.”

This strong friendship between the co-stars likely explains the undeniable chemistry between the characters.
