You’ve never seen her like this before! Carole Bouquet has undergone a dramatic transformation, debuting a never-before-seen hairstyle. Her typically straight hair has been swapped for dreadlocks, a change made for a movie role. Let’s delve into the details!
One of the most talked-about looks during last week’s Paris Fashion Week came from Carole Bouquet, who turned heads with her new dreadlocks at the Chanel show.
The reason behind this makeover? A new film project! During her appearances on the “C à vous” show and later on France 2’s 8 PM news this Sunday, the actress discussed the reasons behind her surprising new look. “I just came from a film where I play an eco-friendly, slightly nymphomaniacal engineer, so I hide my dreads when I’m portraying the engineer because I deal with lands of houses that are at risk of collapsing. I conduct mineralogical research. And at the same time, I’m desperately searching for a man. In this case, it happens to be Fabrice Luchini, who claims he’s not looking for a woman at all. He’ll say no until the day he finally gives in,” she explained on the set of “C à vous”.
The film is titled “Demain je tombe amoureux” and is directed by Martin Provost, known for his highly successful movie “Séraphine”.
“Demain je tombe amoureux” stars Fabrice Luchini as Émile, a literature professor in Dieppe. On his retirement day, he delivers one last lecture on literature and love to his young students, urging them to become poets of their own lives. A student then questions him about his own romantic feelings. Unable to answer, Émile finds out upon returning home that his wife has left him. Now, he must apply his teachings to his own life. Through two new encounters and a reunion, he begins to reinvent himself…
The women he meets along the way are played by Emmanuelle Devos, Chiara Mastroianni, and Carole Bouquet. The release date of the movie is yet to be announced.
