Zoé Throws an Anti-Christmas
At the Institute, Solal feels guilty that Zoé was kicked out of the Christmas squad because of him. He also regrets not realizing it was the Lanneau’s first Christmas without their father. While Maya thinks he should confess his feelings to Zoé to help her understand the situation better, Solal believes it’s too late since she’s in a relationship with Gary, something she has always dreamed of. At the same time, Lionel asks Solal to rejoin his Christmas squad. Solal agrees.
Meanwhile, Gary meets Zoé at the studio. Still upset with Lionel and Solal, she no longer feels like celebrating Christmas. Gary suggests spending the evening just the two of them, but Zoé has another idea: to host an Anti-Christmas where they will prepare a grand feast and invite all their friends. Gary is on board.
Later, Zoé’s invitation to her Anti-Christmas spreads among the students like wildfire. When Lionel finds out, he becomes furious. In an attempt to smooth things over, Solal volunteers to talk to Zoé.
He finds her in the park and warns her, fearing that she might also upset Teyssier with her Anti-Christmas plans. However, Zoé doesn’t want to hear it from him. She resents him for what he said to her brother and the fact that she was fired from the squad. Solal apologizes but doesn’t reveal the truth.
Contrary to what Solal thought, Teyssier is very interested in Zoé and Gary’s Anti-Christmas. He decides to visit them at the studio to find out exactly what they have in mind. Zoé explains that she envisions an outdoor gourmet picnic creating a warm atmosphere. Teyssier gives his approval on the condition that she assembles a competent team. Zoé and Gary then ask Emi, who agrees to join their project.
Accompanied by Zoé and Gary, Teyssier goes to the kitchen where Clotilde is discussing with Lionel and Solal. The Institute’s director asks his colleague to replace Lionel’s team with Zoé’s, but Clotilde categorically refuses as she wants to preserve the Institute’s Christmas tradition.
To persuade her, Teyssier proposes giving each team three days to propose a menu. After tasting them, Teyssier and Clotilde will decide on the best one…
Vic and Enzo Make Amends with Anaïs
At the Marshes flatshare, Anaïs confronts Vic and Enzo about their lie from the previous night. She knows they canceled their attendance at her Christmas dinner to avoid being around Milan. She admits she’s very disappointed, especially since everyone else also canceled and the dinner didn’t happen.
At the Institute, Milan runs into Vic and Enzo and takes the opportunity to scold them for letting Anaïs down, who had gone out of her way to organize a Christmas meal. He emphasizes that it would have really pleased her after what she recently went through with her hearing loss. He wants to surprise her to make up for it.
Vic and Enzo eventually agree to help Milan organize a meal for Anaïs. She is deeply touched by the gesture.
At the end of the meal, Milan sincerely apologizes to Enzo for the hardships he caused him over the summer, including to Vic. He wishes to be friends with him again.
Gaspard Receives an Award
During lunch, Alice meets Gaspard who is eating alone in the park. He regrets getting involved in business not his own, explaining that he was worried Alice might be manipulated by Gaëtan since his little brother had often been manipulated. Alice reassures him on this matter. She then advises him to be friendlier toward his peers to improve his social life.
In the amphitheater, Tom presents the Golden Spatula Awards. Mehdi receives the award for the Most Burned-Out Santa, Malik for Gastronomic Critic, Tom for Best Entertainer, Penelope for the Girl Who Thinks She’s Tom Cruise, and Thelma for the Most Bizarre Career.
Finally, Tom awards Gaspard the Golden Spatula for The Guy Who Thinks He’s Stylish but is Actually a Jerk. Against all odds, Gaspard goes up to receive his award and starts a speech filled with self-deprecation. However, the students are still skeptical.
