Vanished
With over a million box office entries, a prestigious cast, and hundreds of memes and internet references, Zach Cregger’s (Barbarian) new horror film “Vanished” became the real cinematic phenomenon of the summer. Just four months after its release in theaters, it is now available on VOD, allowing horror fans to extend the Halloween thrill… and cinephiles to discover an essential work of the genre.
The synopsis, though simple, is chilling: when all children in a class, except for one, mysteriously disappear on the same night at the same hour, the entire town scrambles to uncover who—or what—is behind this unexplained phenomenon.
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer
Horror aficionados are in for a treat this month with the VOD release of “I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.” The title might sound familiar, as the original 1997 movie set the standard for slasher films and was notable for its plot twists. It was followed by two successful sequels and a TV series before a reboot was announced for 2025.
This new version is a worthy successor to the franchise, reinventing the legend while staying true to its DNA, even bringing back members of the original cast. It’s a commendable achievement for fans of the genre (and more!), available now on VOD.
The Fantastic Four: Origins
The latest addition to the extraordinary Marvel Cinematic Universe, “The Fantastic Four: Origins” explores the genesis of one of the most famous superhero teams, competing with the X-Men and the Avengers. In this first installment, the quartet led by the elastic Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), his wife who can manipulate force fields Sue (Vanessa Kirby), her fiery brother Johnny (Joseph Quinn), and the indestructible Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) face a grave extraterrestrial threat: the world-devouring Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his herald, the Silver Surfer (Julia Garner).
The Bad Guys 2
Following the success of their initial caper, the charming Bad Guys return in a second installment, once again voiced by Pierre Niney, Igor Gotesman, Doully, Jean-Pascal Zadi, and Benoît Cauden. Alice Belaïdi joins the talented cast at her peak, bringing a delightful new character to life!
After deciding to leave their criminal life behind in the first film, the animal outlaws try to adjust to their new, law-abiding lives. But old habits die hard! Soon, they’re pulled out of retirement and forced into “one last job” by an all-female crew.
These films are available this month on VOD.
