John Rhys-Davies, known for roles in “Indiana Jones” and “The Lord of the Rings,” and rising star Paris Brosnan, known from “The Unholy Trinity,” have both committed to starring in “Overhill Manor,” a coming-of-age comedy that marks Lance Clark’s directorial debut.

As reported by Deadline, the movie, currently being filmed in Indiana and penned by Erica Leigh Dick, explores the unlikely bond that forms between a struggling high school student and an elderly, rebellious war veteran. Set against the backdrop of Huntington, Indiana, the film presents a fresh and humorous take on how connections can bridge generations.

Produced by Matt Webb, Lance Clark, and Isaac Norris, “Overhill Manor” also features Bethany Anne Lind (Ozark), Eric Mendenhall (The Walking Dead), Cindy Jackson, Sophia Echendu, and Tyler C. Toney.

“We are excited to bring this story to life with such a dynamic team and cast,” said Lance Clark. “Overhill Manor is a film about what it means to be seen, heard, and to take chances with someone unexpected. We believe audiences will be inspired by this intergenerational narrative.”

An Emmy nominee for his roles in “The Lord of the Rings” series as Gimli, and “Indiana Jones” as Sallah, John Rhys-Davies recently reprised his role in “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.” He has also lent his voice to projects such as “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.”
