Love, Glory, and Beauty: Another French Actress Joins After Elsa Esnoult!

Following the appearance of Elsa Esnoult from “Les Mystères de l’amour” on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” another French actress has joined the cast of the American soap opera! Moreover, her character is set to shake up the already eventful lives of the Forrester family… Will she be a friend or a foe to the clan?

Murielle Hilaire Joins “The Bold and the Beautiful”

In the episodes currently airing in the United States (with TF1 being a year behind the American broadcasts), this new heroine, named Daphne, is played by Franco-American actress Murielle Hilaire.

While still relatively unknown in France, viewers may have seen her over the years in series such as “Cœur océan,” “Nicolas Le Floch,” “Capitaine Marleau,” and “Ils étaient 10.” She has also appeared in “Death in Paradise” in the UK and in the film “The Love Punch” in cinemas.

On “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Daphne is a perfume designer who arrives in Los Angeles to assist Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in her schemes against Hope (Annika Noelle)… Daphne and her family have indeed lost control of Forrester Creations and wish to regain control of the company.

But will Daphne fully align herself with Steffy? It’s not so certain… Upon her arrival, she had a flirtatious encounter with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), even though he has just reconciled with Taylor (who has yet again been recast)!

If there’s one thing Steffy despises (find out everything that will happen to her in the coming months!), it’s another woman circling her beloved father! Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) knows this all too well by now… Could Daphne potentially become an enemy? Anything is possible!

In an interview with TV Line, Murielle Hilaire sheds some light on her character in “The Bold and the Beautiful”: “You can never be sure what Daphne is thinking… Nothing is black or white with her, she operates in a gray area… Daphne likes Steffy but I don’t think she came from Paris just to help her.“
