Two years after the success of “All Quiet on the Western Front,” which won at the 95th Academy Awards including Best International Feature Film, German director Edward Berger has taken on another novel adaptation, this time bringing Robert Harris’s bestseller Conclave to the big screen.

The film features Ralph Fiennes (Schindler’s List, No Time to Die, the Harry Potter series) as Cardinal Lawrence, who is charged with leading the conclave. Joining him are Stanley Tucci (Spotlight), John Lithgow (The Crown), Isabella Rossellini (Blue Velvet), Lucian Msamati (Gangs of London), and Sergio Castellitto (Who Knows?).
