As the Peaky Blinders film is currently under production featuring the return of Cillian Murphy as the lead, alongside new faces such as Rebecca Ferguson and Barry Keoghan, French fans of the hit series won’t have to wait long to reconnect with the iconic Thomas Shelby and his family…

Following a triumphant tour, the spectacle “Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby” will make its French debut from March 11 to March 30, 2025, at La Seine Musicale. On stage, the Rambert, a renowned British dance troupe, offers audiences a choreographed rendition of the legendary Peaky Blinders saga.

Opening in the trenches of Flanders, the personal story of Thomas Shelby (portrayed on stage by dancer Conor Kerrigan) unfolds, set against the backdrop of post-World War I industrial Birmingham, where the Shelby family reigns supreme.

This theatrical adaptation has been penned by none other than Steven Knight, the creator of the acclaimed series, and choreographed and directed by Benoit Swan Pouffer, the artistic director of Rambert. Thus, early fans and spectators will find most of the elements that contributed to the success of Peaky Blinders, starting with its music!

The performance is further enhanced by the live rendition of an original soundtrack composed by Roman GianArthur, which includes iconic tracks from the series (Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Radiohead, Anna Calvi, The Last Shadow Puppets, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club).

As a special treat for fans, Steven Knight has incorporated some unique elements he had in mind at the inception of the series that were never included in the show. Starting from the beginning, the spectacle also caters to a new audience who might wish to explore the Peaky Blinders world in a novel way.

Derived from the series, it includes scenes that may be unsuitable for younger viewers (gunshots, violence, sex, drugs, etc.), as well as strobe effects and pyrotechnics. It is therefore recommended for audiences aged 15 and over.

Experience “Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby” from March 11 to March 30, 2025, at La Seine Musicale.
