Get ready to see a lot more of this rising star on your screen: they’re headlining a new promising series on Apple TV+, which just released a gripping trailer.
Thriller enthusiasts, take note! Apple TV+ has just dropped the trailer for a new series that’s bound to keep you on the edge of your seat for its 8-episode run. Titled “Prime Target,” this drama created by Steve Thompson (known for “Sherlock,” “Doctor Who,” “Jericho”) is set to be your new obsession early this year.
The Thrilling Drama of Early This Year
“Prime Target” follows Edward Brooks, a brilliant mathematics researcher on the verge of a major breakthrough. If he succeeds in decoding prime numbers, he’ll unlock the key to the world’s computers.
He quickly realizes that an unseen enemy is trying to thwart his project. His path then crosses with Taylah Sanders, an NSA agent assigned to monitor the mathematician. Together, they start to unravel the conspiracy at the heart of Edward’s predicament.
Combining science, conspiracy, action, and suspense, “Prime Target” promises to twist your brain and leave you breathless as new episodes release weekly starting January 22 on Apple TV+.
A New Streaming Star Takes the Lead
This promising thriller is led by a rising streaming star who has shone in popular series: Leo Woodall. The British actor first appeared in the movie “Cherry,” directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, and in Julie Plec’s series “Vampire Academy.”
However, his career took a significant turn when he landed the prominent role of Jack in season 2 of “The White Lotus,” alongside Tom Hollander. Leo Woodall was later seen in the action series “Citadel” on Prime Video before playing Dexter, the romantic lead in the Netflix series “Un Jour.”
In this series produced by Scott Free, Ridley Scott’s production company, he stars alongside Quintessa Swindell (from “Trinkets,” “Black Adam,” “Master Gardener”), Stephen Rea (“V for Vendetta”), David Morrissey (“The Walking Dead”), Martha Plimpton (“Raising Hope”), Sidse Babett Knudsen (“Borgen”), Jason Flemyng (“Pennyworth”), Harry Lloyd (“Arcane”), and Fra Fee (“Rebel Moon”).
Leo Woodall is becoming a prominent face on television and in the streaming world, and he’s about to storm the big screen as he will feature in the fourth installment of the Bridget Jones saga alongside Renée Zellweger.
The first two episodes of “Prime Target” will be available on January 22, 2025, on Apple TV+, followed by a new episode every Wednesday until March 5.
