An excellent adaptation of Mark Millar’s comic, albeit much “nicer” in terms of violence—the film was violent enough, imagine the comic. The actors are superb, the story is violently hilarious, the direction is flawless, and the humor is dark. Aaron Johnson is brilliant and fits perfectly as the superhero without powers, Chloë Moretz is just insane, and Mark Strong, Nicolas Cage, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse are superb. The music is fantastic, the fights are stunning, and the superheroes are hilarious. A cult film.”
