Laurine Takes On Janet

Laurine Laumière (Léa Gillard) is set to embark on her highly ambitious doctoral thesis on Artificial Intelligence in medical diagnostics and patient data management. Her primary goal is to gain the approval of Janet (Tonya Kinzinger), the head of the hospital department.

Unfortunately for Boris’s sister (Jules Bahloul), Janet is not impressed by her thesis. Indeed, like her nephew and new intern, Jérémy (Ali Hasniou), Janet believes the young woman is exploiting the public hospital for a private project. This only fuels Laurine’s anger!

In an act of revenge against Janet, Laurine will openly flirt with Jérémy, all the while concealing her true intentions. Will she manage to charm him despite their rocky start? On her part, Janet faces pressure from the Laumière family but ultimately refuses to support Laurine’s project.

Pinot Must Face the Music

In Montpellier, restaurateur Pinot continues to stir controversy. After making racist remarks towards Kira (Coline Ramos-Pinto), who has returned to Montpellier, Pinot denies entry to Pablo (Adriel Sorrente) and Noura (Mariel-Louise Compain) based on their skin color.

Following this new act of racial discrimination, a scandal erupts in the local newspaper Midi Libre. Naturally, Kira is relieved to see the community’s focus shift toward the racist restaurateur. Could this scandal lead to the restaurant’s permanent closure?

Upon reading the article, Pinot thinks only of revenge. He decides to sue the newspaper but quickly retracts his decision, realizing he is likely to lose the battle. And rightly so, as the Montpellier prosecutor decides to open an investigation against him, and he is also summoned by Police Commissioner Clément Becker (Yvon Back). Game over for Pinot!

Alix Vows to Save Lucas

Meanwhile, in Montpellier, Lucas (Jules Charbonnier) faces a significant ultimatum: succumb to Sybille’s blackmail or get arrested. As Lucas finds himself in a tight spot, his boss physically assaults him to ensure compliance.

Despite being bruised, Lucas continues to hide the truth from his girlfriend, Emma (Sarah Jague). However, the astute young woman senses that Lucas is keeping a significant secret from her.

Aware of the increasing danger around him, Lucas agrees to a risky new deal at L. Cosmetics. His task: to retrieve packages without getting caught. As Lucas finds himself in peril, Ludo (Folco Marchi) secretly keeps an eye on him, at Alix’s (Nadia Fossier) request.

It’s then that Ludo uncovers the massive trafficking operation orchestrated by Sybille: Lucas is involved in transporting illegal goods. Deeply concerned for him, Alix wants to fight to free him from Sybille’s clutches. However, not surprisingly, he refuses her help.

Ultimately, faced with the gravity of the situation, Lucas confesses everything to Emma. Shocked by these revelations, Emma too takes risks to help her boyfriend escape this predicament. But in their quest to aid Lucas, could Alix and Emma end up in danger themselves?
