Up Next in Episode 1166 of ‘Ici Tout Commence’ – May 1, 2025 [SPOILERS]

On Thursday, May 1st in “Here Everything Begins”…

Vic is Ready for Surgery

At the hospital, the oncologist informs Vic that her condition is now stable, but recent tests have shown her cancer is progressing rapidly. She needs to undergo surgery as soon as possible. This time, Vic agrees willingly.

Shortly after, Doria arrives in Vic’s room. Hortense and Enzo are ready to send her away, but Vic asks to speak with her alone. In their private conversation, Vic realizes that the naturopathic chief has not reflected on her actions, either towards her or her own sister. Vic accuses Doria of using her as a guinea pig to better her own situation in her upcoming trial. Then, she asks her to leave.

Afterwards, Vic meets with her mother and older sister in the hallway. They disagree: Eugénie wants to take her daughter back to Bordeaux where she knows specialists, while Hortense wants to stay by her sister’s side and have her treated in Nîmes. Vic interrupts them, explaining that she needs to make this decision on her own.

Meanwhile, at the Institute, Stanislas and Alice notice that Gaëtan is feeling down. He feels guilty for having brought Doria into the school. While Stanislas thinks he needs time, Alice wants to find something to distract him.

Elsewhere, Doria meets her lawyer at the local café. He informs her that a new complaint has been filed against her by the Rochemont family, accusing her of mistreatment and taking advantage of Vic. He adds that the complaint will likely lead nowhere due to lack of evidence, but it will be noted in her file. Moreover, he no longer believes he is the right person to represent her. Realizing the harm she has caused, especially to her sister, Doria now intends to admit to the facts and plead guilty at the trial.

At the hospital, Vic packs her belongings to leave her room. Enzo comes to pick her up. She then confesses to him that she regrets breaking up and has never stopped loving him. The couple reconciles.

Enzo then takes Vic back to the swamp housemates, where she is welcomed by Carla and Gaëtan. Gaëtan expresses his guilt over Doria, but Vic doesn’t blame him at all. She considers herself solely responsible for her choices.

She then tells her housemates that she has decided to follow her mother to Bordeaux and undergo surgery there. She asks them to take care of Enzo in her absence. However, Enzo declares that he is ready to leave the Master’s program to accompany her to Bordeaux…

Emi Finds Comfort with Lionel

In the park, Lionel meets Emi and gives her a sprig of lily of the valley. She takes the opportunity to tell him that she prefers him when he is himself and that she finds him perfect as he is.

Comforted, Lionel invites her to lunch at his place without trying to impress her any further. He prepares a frozen pizza for the meal. He accidentally burns himself with the oven rack and yells out, which unsettles Emi.

Later, Lionel visits his girlfriend at the Workshop to make sure she is alright. She confides that bad memories resurfaced when she heard him yelling at the oven rack. Lionel is very understanding. He knows it’s normal given her past experiences and promises to make an effort to avoid yelling. He also reassures her that he is there if she needs to talk.

After class, Emi and Lionel reunite at his place. They kiss on the sofa, and then make love.

Rose’s Ex Returns

Now that she has moved in with him, Marc encourages Rose to make herself at home. She takes this opportunity to ask him to remove a painting she dislikes, which he does willingly. Discovering this, Jim is also pleased and thanks Rose for her intervention.

In the kitchen, Jim tells Jasmine that he appreciates Rose moving in. However, he fears that his relationship with his father might not last because he knows his father tends to tire of the daily routine. At that moment, Souleymane enters the kitchen and informs Jim that he will help Rose move her last boxes in the evening.

Meanwhile, Marc plans to host a dinner with Constance and Teyssier to celebrate Rose’s move-in. He is overjoyed.

At the end of the day, Souleymane loads Rose’s boxes into his car. A young girl helps him out. It turns out to be Joséphine, who came to visit the Institute. Souleymane soon finds out that she is Paul’s niece!

Joséphine arranges to meet Souleymane the next day for a tour of the school. Meanwhile, Rose, surprised to see Paul again, invites him for coffee the following day, which he accepts with pleasure.
