Julia Resigns

Having reconciled with Jim, Jasmine spent the night at his place. She wakes up early to work with Julia and explore new ideas. Once his girlfriend leaves, Jim is hopeful that Julia will keep her word about resigning. Marc tries to reassure him.

In the kitchen, Jasmine ends up working alone on the tests. Julia shows up late and immediately asks to speak to the head chefs in private. She tells them she has been offered a position to work with a Michelin-starred chef. Despite the setback, Olivia and Claire wish her the best.

Meanwhile, Jasmine doesn’t hesitate to express her disappointment as she really enjoyed their partnership. Julia assures her the feeling is mutual.

At the end of her day, Jasmine meets Jim at the beach and shares that Julia has resigned. Jim keeps his emotions hidden.

Meanwhile, Olivia and Claire ponder who could replace Julia. They agree that Jim is not ready yet. Olivia immediately thinks of Lionel. However, their discussion is abruptly interrupted by a call informing them that their upcoming restaurant has been vandalized.

They notify the police and then head to the scene. With the captain, they assess the damage: graffiti saying “Shitty Vegan” on the glass door and a dead pig’s head hanging in the entryway…

Carla Supports Bérénice

At the marsh flatshare, Carla is eager to get back to work with her girlfriend. However, Bérénice cuts her off, choosing to go to the market with Joséphine and suggesting Carla find another place to work to avoid stepping on each other’s toes.

Upset, Carla meets up with Coline at the Economat and vents about Bérénice’s sudden closeness with Joséphine. Loup overhears their conversation and points out that Bérénice needed moral support. Coline confirms she’s been under a lot of pressure.

Realizing she’s been too self-centered, Carla visits Joséphine and Bérénice at the studio and takes genuine interest in what they’re doing. She even helps her girlfriend find inspiration. As a result, Bérénice comes close to perfecting her signature dessert that resembles a sunset.

Tom Volunteers His Services to Rose

Upon learning that several students besides him were asked to participate in the Institute’s promotional video, Tom feels deeply slighted. Following Billie’s advice, he asks Rose to give him a chance, emphasizing his deep love for the Institute. The Masters program director agrees.
