Tuesday, August 11th in Here Everything Begins…

Loup and Bianca sleep together

At the masterclass, Loup is still puzzled about why Bianca wanted to sideline him. Gaspard then reveals that she was merely trying to sabotage his chances of winning the internship because he’s a terrific cook.

Later, Marc and Anouk inform the students they will be experimenting with different cooking methods in groups. Gaspard, Coline, and Maxence work on cooking under ashes, Gary and Ninon on hot stones, and Bianca and Loup on embers.

The young woman reopens communication with her partner, who assures her all is forgotten. They join forces for the exercise, and Marc and Anouk praise their skill.

Meanwhile, Coline finds out that Gaspard told Maxence she had brought a cellphone. He agrees to keep it a secret in exchange for using it for 15 minutes later that night, which she allows.

Later, Bianca and Ninon enjoy some time by a river. Loup and Gary join them for a swim. Soon after, Anouk interrupts to ask them to return to camp for a debrief. She lingers to ask Loup if anything is happening between him and Bianca. He denies it, though he admits they had kissed long ago but it meant nothing.

Nevertheless, Loup decides to meet Bianca alone in the forest to find out what’s really going on between them. She tells him she’s upset he forgot what she had told him at the party, despite his excellent memory. As she starts to walk away, he catches up and kisses her. They end up sleeping together…

Tom and Julia officially define their relationship

Tom and Julia realize that everyone at the Institute now knows they’ve been sleeping together, and that no one really cares.

Later, Julia meets Tom at the pop-up restaurant. She suggests they stop sleeping together since the thrill of secrecy and prohibition is gone. He agrees. Billie, who overhears, points out to her ex that it’s really a shame.

At the end of the day, Tom publicly asks Julia to officially be his friend with benefits. She agrees.

Teyssier outmaneuvers the students

At the Workshop, the competition is fierce among Carla, Bérénice, Jim, and Maya. All are hoping to secure Anaïs’s position at the Double A.

They each present their dishes to Chef Jourdain and Teyssier. He finds all of their efforts lacking. In the end, he chooses to offer the position to Hector. However, Hector says he needs time to think it over.

Meanwhile, the students decide to take advantage of their holidays to work and maintain their level of skill.
