Elise eventually changes her mind. She decides to head home to let Yann enjoy his evening peacefully with his new partner. Meanwhile, Agnès exits the bathroom, feigning disappointment that she couldn’t meet Yann’s colleague.

The next day, Florent is at Cécile’s bedside, who is still in a coma. Tearfully, he says, “We weren’t a perfect couple, but still. I didn’t realize things were not okay between us. I’m such a fool. But if you were unhappy, why didn’t you talk to me about it? We could have discussed it and found solutions together. Why did you do this? It’s not like you.”

Shortly after, Clémence tells Florent that Cécile’s vitals are stable, which is very positive. She encourages him to remain hopeful.

Meanwhile, Manu and Thierry listen to Fabrice Colas’s conversations through a bug they planted the previous day in his hideout. The officers then hear the fugitive tell someone he plans to leave today as he no longer feels safe.

Shortly thereafter, Manu and Thierry see a car pull up in front of Colas’s hideout. It’s the man he was on the phone with a few minutes earlier, coming to bring him money and help him leave the city. However, Manu and Thierry step in and manage to arrest them.

In the afternoon, Agnès meets Elise in town. While embracing her partner, the police officer notices she doesn’t smell the same as usual.

Hugo Suffers a Heart Attack Just Hours Before His Wedding

Today is Hugo and Sabine’s wedding day. As everyone gets ready for the ceremony, Sabine insists that her future husband visit the hospital before heading to the town hall. The medical examiner has been complaining of pain for several days, and his condition doesn’t appear to be improving. But Hugo adamantly refuses to see a doctor.

Worried, Sabine asks Hugo to convince his father to see a doctor. However, the teenager thinks his stepmother is worrying over nothing. He even urges her to relax and enjoy her day.

But the math teacher is not ready to give up. She then spills coffee on Hugo’s jacket to make him think they need to stop by the tailor, and instead takes him to the hospital. Pain radiating down the left arm, cold sweats, shortness of breath, dizziness… The diagnosis is clear: Hugo is having a heart attack.

At the same time, guests gather at the town hall to celebrate the marriage of Hugo and Sabine. Tensions remain high between Céleste and Claudine, and the atmosphere is also charged between Yann and Johanna.
