Noura Discovers Eliott’s Secret

Eliott seems particularly pensive this morning. His mind keeps replaying the moment when two motorcyclists pulled out their guns while he was taking Curtis to his appointments. While Muriel tries to figure out what’s bothering him, Eliott pretends he’s just having a hard time waking up.

At school, Achille asks Noura to go to the movies tonight, but she declines because she has to take care of Toma. She then tells him that the child’s father she’s caring for was imprisoned for tax fraud.

At L. Cosmetics, Elisabeth is noticeably upset with Boris, a fact that Muriel doesn’t miss. She advises her colleague to pull out all the stops to persuade Victoire to come back to work for them. She also tells him that Victoire will be in Lyon the next day for a designers’ conference.

Meanwhile, Roméo suggests a new scheme to Tom to make some money, but the teenager declines because he wants to stop the mischief. Despite Roméo’s insistence, Tom firmly rejects the idea.

Elsewhere, Eliott picks up a client in his car and asks him to buckle up. When the client refuses, Eliott sternly tells him to leave his vehicle and then drives away.

In the afternoon, Boris visits his mother at the nursing home. After she reproaches him for not visiting sooner, Catherine reassures him that she’s feeling great, even though she had a breakdown after François’s death. Boris is worried because she is supposed to leave that week. After she insists she’s much better, Catherine adds that she has nothing left to do here before embracing him.

At the end of the day, Eliott returns home and finds Noura taking care of Toma. When he receives a call from Curtis, he goes into his son’s room to answer. Curtis asks if he’s available later in the week for a new job, but Eliott responds that he’s hesitant after the recent dangerous incident. “I don’t want to get a bullet in my head because of your dealings. Of course, I’m scared. I have a kid and I want him to grow up with a father,” he says. Unknown to Eliott, his son’s baby monitor is on and Noura hears his entire conversation. When he returns to the living room, Noura, looking uncomfortable, quickly leaves. Eliott then notices the baby monitor on the table…

Yann Gives Up His Dream of Becoming a Father

Unable to stand being confined any longer, Johanna decides to return to work. Yann wonders if she is avoiding him, especially since they never discussed their lost baby. Johanna points out it was barely an embryo. However, Yann wants to talk about the future, particularly about starting a family. Johanna ultimately tells him she’s not sure she wants a child anymore, as she no longer wants to endure the protocols, IVF treatments, and injections. When Yann suggests sticking to natural methods, Johanna reminds him that she has already had two miscarriages and doesn’t want to experience another. While Yann dreams of being a father, he emphasizes that he wants it to be with her and no one else. As Johanna is reluctant to ask such a sacrifice of him, Yann reveals he has thought it through. He loves her, and that’s all that matters. She then tells him how much she loves him before they kiss.

Upon arriving at the office, Johanna asks Claudine to take over Ludo’s file, which she agrees to.

At the hospital, Manu questions Serge Levars who still has no memory of his assault. While the officer tries to find out if anyone might bear a grudge against him, Serge, being a lawyer, notes that half the town might want him dead. However, he can’t think of anyone who would want to kill him. As Laetitia expresses concern for his safety, Manu tries to reassure her.

Back at the police station, Manu tells Hugo and Commissioner Becker that Serge remembers nothing. Given that they’re at a dead end, Hugo suggests bringing the lawyer to the scene of his assault in hopes of jogging his memory. The commissioner agrees.

Meanwhile, Johanna calls Sabine and shares that she had a reassuring conversation with Yann. Sabine, surprised that Yann has agreed to give up his dream of fatherhood, hopes he won’t change his mind. Johanna notes that she didn’t coerce him; he made his choice.

Elsewhere, Hugo asks Yann if he really is okay with giving up his dream of having a child. Yann responds that he loves Johanna and doesn’t want to pressure her. He hopes, however, that once the trauma has passed, she might change her mind.
