From January 19th to 25th, Alpe d’Huez celebrates comedy with the 29th installment of its festival. Spotlight on “L’infiltrée” by Ahmed Sylla, showcased out of competition. Hits theaters February 11, 2026.
Throughout the week, AlloCiné will introduce you to several comedies of 2026, as part of the Alpe d’Huez Film Festival lineup. The Comedy Film Festival in Isère, now in its 29th year, blends a mix of debut feature films and discoveries, as well as works from more established directors, featuring many comedy stars. The festival promises a rich variety in comedy styles.
Today, we spotlight “L’Infiltrée,” Ahmed Sylla’s directorial debut! Echoing his famous impersonation of TV host Karine Lemarchand, Sylla dons a wig and cross-dresses again for his new role as a woman undercover!
The plot: When a clumsy police officer is assigned a highly sensitive undercover mission, he never expects to have to transform into a woman to get close to a fearsome gang of warrior women led by the fearsome “Tonton”. Maxime dreamed of becoming an undercover agent… Lupita will make his dream come true!
The cast: Ahmed Sylla, Michèle Laroque, Kaaris, Sandra Parfait, Amaury de Crayencour, Ichem Bougheraba, and featuring Chantal Ladesou.
Our thoughts: “L’Infiltrée” mixes several well-defined film genres: the undercover movie, cross-dressing comedy, and action comedy. This blend proves highly effective: the lines are sharp, comedic situations are rapid-fire, and the cast enjoys themselves immensely. Michèle Laroque, as the “boss lady,” is hilarious, and it’s a joy to see Ahmed Sylla back in such a role after his irresistible spoof of Karine Lemarchand a few years ago.
Additional info: Ahmed Sylla was somewhat less visible in cinema in 2025, after starring in three comedies in 2024 (“Comme un prince”, “Ici et là-bas”, and “Super Papa”). For his return in 2026, with this new film, he wears multiple hats: Ahmed Sylla is both in front of and behind the camera. “L’infiltrée” is his first feature film as a director. He also collaborated on the script alongside Daive Cohen.

A 29th Edition Featuring Stars and Debuts
Founded in 1997, the Alpe d’Huez Festival takes place, as its name suggests, in the eponymous winter sports resort. Located at 1800 meters above sea level in the heart of Isère, the area has welcomed thousands of festival-goers for nearly three decades, allowing them to discover each year upcoming major comedy films.
Launched on January 19, the 29th edition of the festival is in full swing: screenings, meet-and-greets, and signings are part of this week dedicated to comedy stars and first-time features. This year, five feature films are debuts, including Ahmed Sylla’s first steps as a director with “L’infiltrée,” screening this Tuesday night.
The 29th Comedy Film Festival of Alpe d’Huez in Isère runs until January 25, 2026.
