Jérémy is Indicted

In the morning, Aude interviews a new witness in the Dorin case. The witness confirms that he saw Jérémy and Isaure arguing in a parking lot on the evening of the incident. Unfortunately, he was too far away to hear their conversation. However, he recounts: “They calmed down. They got back into the car together and left. About fifteen minutes later, the car returned and parked in the exact same spot. The man got out and walked away quickly. He seemed nervous, and there was no one else in the car“.

At the police station, Manu informs Becker that his nephew has been taken into custody again. Although he can’t reveal much, the officer implies that they have solid evidence against him.

During his interrogation, Jérémy sticks to his story and insists he did not leave with Isaure after their argument. When Manu brings up the new witness testimony, Jérémy swears he didn’t kill her.

Meanwhile, Marc tells Paloma that Jérémy has been detained once more, a harsh blow for the young woman. The journalist tries to comfort her, but to no avail.

Elsewhere, Becker runs into Claudine in the police station hallways and asks to speak with her. Knowing he’s worried about their nephew, the lawyer shares the latest details of the investigation. Convinced that Atlan bribed the witness to lie, Becker urges her not to let him get away with it this time. Claudine assures him that she knows what she needs to do.

Claudine and Jérémy then proceed to Judge Alphand’s office. Given the case file, the judge decides to indict him for voluntary manslaughter and orders his temporary detention. Claudine requests the judge to hold off on her decision until a confrontation can be arranged between Jérémy and the witness, but the judge reminds her that she has no right to interfere in her ruling. The decision on incarceration will be made by the liberty judge.

As night falls, Margot calls Atlan to inform him that Jérémy has been indicted. Relieved, he thanks her. After hanging up, Atlan meets with the witness and hands him an envelope full of money, promising the rest after the trial. “We’ll talk again to prepare your testimony. The trial won’t happen for months. I hope I can count on you“, he tells him. The man assures him that Jérémy won’t be getting out of prison.

Pablo Confesses the Truth to Alexis

Salomé reminisces about the night she spent with Pablo. Thus, she heads to school with a heavy heart. When Noura suggests setting a new date for rock climbing, Salomé is eager, unlike Pablo.

During math class, Pablo is distracted and keeps glancing at Salomé. He even imagines kissing her.

In the afternoon, the high school students find out their history teacher is absent. While everyone wants to take a stroll, Salomé declines, claiming she needs to shop and study for her history test. Her peers notice her odd behavior.

Later, Salomé receives a call from Clara, the young woman she saved. They plan to go rock climbing next week.

Meanwhile, Pablo and Alexis walk home together. Alexis has noticed his friend’s attraction to Salomé. Pablo eventually admits they slept together. Alexis promises to keep it secret but advises him to be careful as the awkwardness between them has been noticeable since they got back. He also suggests turning off his phone notifications to avoid getting caught.
