In a heartfelt tribute to Julian McMahon, who passed away on Wednesday, July 2, at the age of 56, the M6 Group has decided to alter its channel programming in the coming days to feature the iconic series of the late actor.
On Wednesday, July 2, Julian McMahon succumbed to cancer at the age of 56. Since his passing, his co-stars from Charmed and Nip/Tuck have taken to social media to pay their last respects to an actor who left a lasting impression on a generation.
To honor Julian McMahon’s memory, the M6 Group is reshuffling its schedule to air two of his most popular series across its networks.
Charmed Re-runs on 6ter
Julian McMahon became a household name in the early 2000s when he portrayed Cole Turner in Charmed. Sent by the Triad to kill the three Halliwell sisters, Cole quickly falls for Phoebe (played by Alyssa Milano), sparking one of television’s most memorable love stories.
In tribute, 6ter will re-air every episode of Charmed starting July 14 at 4:20 PM, offering fans a chance to watch or re-watch this now-classic series.
Most Wanted Criminal Arrives on Series Club
Following his departure from Charmed, Julian McMahon quickly found success as the lead in Nip/Tuck, a medical drama produced by Ryan Murphy. In 2019, nine years after the show ended, he landed the role of Jess LaCroix in the crime series FBI: Most Wanted Criminals.
Starting this Wednesday, July 9, at 9 PM, Series Club will begin airing reruns of the series, which had previously been shown on TF1. This presents an opportunity to see Julian McMahon in a role that is vastly different from his previous characters.
