In episode 34 of “All for the Light,” which aired on Thursday, July 31 on TF1, Florence has recovered from the distress she experienced after learning that Swann was leaving for Cameroon. Interestingly, she reveals to Eden that her illness was feigned. Her strategy was successful, as Swann postpones his departure to stay by her side.

However, this joy is short-lived for the studio director: Swann is determined to leave and is scheduled to fly out the next day. He informs his mother that her emotional manipulation won’t stop him.

Florence hands over the leadership to…

Yet, Florence hasn’t played her final card. In the following episode, she gathers Joel and her three children to make a significant announcement. Given her health might continue to deteriorate, she plans to gradually step back from her duties at the Studio and has already considered her successor. To everyone’s surprise, she chooses Swann.

It is worth mentioning that in her half-burned diary, she had expressed her last wishes and relied on Eden to take over the studio management once he came of age.

How will Joel, Eden, and Victoria react? Swann, who had left the music industry to focus on humanitarian work, will he accept? This position would also allow him to stay close to Iris. Is Florence serious about her choice, or is this yet another way to keep Swann near her?
