Maddie Supports Nils

Maddie and Nils walk hand in hand through the hallways of the Studio. Shortly after, Maddie asks Tess, who often shares her life on social media, why Nils feels the need to showcase himself online.

After they make love, Nils takes a selfie for his followers. Maddie speaks openly to him, and Nils confesses that he often feels a disconnect between his mind and his body. The abuse he endured from his former coach has distorted his relationship with his body. Posting on the adult platform helps him regain control over his body.

Later, Maddie discusses with Nils her findings: she believes he is dissociating. The intimacy they share might remind him of his experiences with his coach. To protect himself, his brain ensures that his body feels nothing.

Victoria’s Anxiety Intensifies

Victoria confides in Éden about the anxiety attacks overwhelming her in Swann’s presence. She is overjoyed to see him again but wishes the attacks would stop. Éden suggests that she and Swann co-direct his musical, which Victoria accepts as it will help her get closer to her brother.

During rehearsals, Éden is enthusiastic and introduces Swann to his peers. Swann introduces an unusual exercise where students must choose an animal and imitate it. Noah notices that Iris seems particularly focused on Swann and wonders if she knew him before.

The class goes well, but when Swann places his arm on Victoria’s shoulder, she is struck by anxiety and has to leave the room. She discusses it with her mother, suspecting that her body is trying to send her a message. Something might have happened between her and her brother before he left, possibly indicating post-traumatic stress.

Solenn Kisses Max

Solenn is thrilled to learn that Max will be teaching fitness classes at the Studio. She tells Tess she’s sure Max has a crush on her. During Max’s first class, Solenn is delighted to assist him by demonstrating movements to other students.

At the end of the class, she helps Max tidy up the room. She kisses him but immediately stops and apologizes profusely. As she leaves, she breaks into a smile.

What Happened Between Swann and Victoria?

Florence is unsettled to see Swann back at the Studio. Her son has largely stepped away from music to focus on humanitarian efforts, departing whenever an NGO he works with needs him. In her view, the Studio belongs to Victoria, Florence, and Éden.

Iris meets Swann after his first day at the Studio. Swann understands why his sister might have had another anxiety attack given what happened between them before his departure. Iris is surprised that Victoria hasn’t brought up the subject. For Swann, if she hasn’t, it’s because she doesn’t remember what he did to her.
