Shocking Fear: Why is Victoria Terrified of Swann? Unveiling the Truth!

With Swann’s return, the Delaunat family is nearing completion after over two decades filled with secrets and lies. However, the reunion between Victoria and her brother does not go as expected…

In episode 30 of “All for the Light,” airing on TF1 this Friday, July 25th, and already available on Netflix, Swann finally reveals the truth to Florence and Victoria. He didn’t die in a plane crash; instead, he used that as a cover to start a new life elsewhere. After working as a nurse for an NGO in Africa, Swann decided to return to La Ciotat, driven by his love for Iris and a desire to escape the burden of his lies.

While his reunion with his mother is touching, the same cannot be said for his sister. Indeed, Victoria sheds a tear upon seeing him, but then violently pushes him away as soon as he embraces her. “Don’t touch me,” she snaps, her breath catching.

This is certainly a puzzling welcome for Swann. And it doesn’t stop there, as Victoria continues to suffer from anxiety attacks whenever she is around her brother. She is convinced her body is trying to tell her something. She even asks her mother if she might be suffering from post-traumatic stress. Florence dismisses this idea as absurd, but Victoria is determined to understand what is happening to her.

All for the Light

What could have happened twenty years ago between her and her brother, before he vanished? In episode 32, when Swann becomes overly assertive with Baya during rehearsals for The Sun King, Victoria immediately steps in to protect her daughter. She prefers that she and her brother coach the students separately.

Eventually, Swann addresses the issue with Victoria, who confesses to feeling fear and anger in his presence. She doesn’t seem to remember their argument twenty years earlier, just before his departure. Then her brother begins: after discovering that Victoria had accidentally given him a sleeping pill, Swann lost his temper. When he tried to leave to cool off, Victoria caught up with him and Swann pushed her so hard that her head hit the piano. Seeing his sister unconscious and bleeding, Swann panicked and disappeared.

Will Victoria be able to forgive him? Was Florence aware of this incident? Find out in upcoming episodes of “All for the Light.”
