Henry Cavill & Jake Gyllenhaal Star in Guy Ritchie’s Action Thriller – Watch Now!

Released in theaters in the United States last May, the thriller “The Specialists,” written and directed by Guy Ritchie (known for Sherlock Holmes, Snatch, Aladdin), launches today in France on Prime Video, just months after his series “Young Sherlock.” Will fans of the iconic director of “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels” show up once again?

What’s the Plot?

When a crime lord robs a major international bank, a debt recovery specialist sends her two top agents, Sid and Bronco, to reclaim the stolen funds. However, the criminal hides on a corrupt island where even the police have turned into a militia. In this volatile environment, even the strongest alliances may shatter: amidst betrayals and deceptions, the hunt begins. The hardest part isn’t taking back the money… it’s making it out alive.

Who’s in the Cast?

A seasoned filmmaker in Hollywood, Guy Ritchie often relies on top-notch actors for his leading roles. This is once more the case with “The Specialists,” which stars Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, The Witcher) and Jake Gyllenhaal (Prisoners, Nightcrawler) as Sid and Branco respectively, who are tasked with protecting the lawyer Sophia, played by Eiza Gonzalez (The Three-Body Problem, Baby Driver).

In supporting roles, viewers will be pleased to see actress Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl), Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju, and Carlos Bardem (Assassin’s Creed), who is the brother of actor Javier Bardem.
